I am extremely disappointed in this Amazon purchase. I'll start with the fact that I paid extra money for the dress to arrive on a specific date and it was four days late. The dress, while beautiful in the picture, is an absolute mess. The arm holes are only large enough for a small child. Most of the "jewels" were literally hanging on by a thread and have to reattached. The jewels around the waist are uneven. Half the hem wasn't sewed. Inside seams are bunched up and crooked instead of smooth and straight. There is no way to keep the back flap that goes under the tie in place while you lace up the back because it doesn't have so much as a hook and eye. I'm giving one star because the only positive to this dress is that the color on the ad and the dress match. Since it arrived late I have to spend money having it fixed because Prom is in a few days and there is no time to get a different dress.This dress is lovely! I was impressed with the construction and the way the material of the inner skirt was doubled up. We had ordered a similar dress from another company and it was too sheer. This one is not at all. The lacing up the back is gorgeous. The front bodice is also very well-constructed and fits well. The color is beautiful too - very rich and deep. This dress is perfect except it is very long. I will need to get it hemmed, but I knew that when I purchased.This dress is very pretty, but when you see the top white part it makes the whole dress cheap and gaudy. It does not look like the picture at all on the white. We couldn’t even use it.
